The other night I got up to let your dog out and I heard someone breathe...was it you? Did you let him out of his crate? In my heart I want to believe it's you and that you're here with me.

I once read an article about having an emotional love affair, or having an emotional lover. Not a extramarital affair, or a sexual lover but someone who you are emotionally attached to. Whatever... I have one.

He is someone who I can talk to about anything and vice versa. We have similar interests and views on things. I am the female version of him, personality wise that is. It's extremely comforting that i can share so many parts of my day with him and he always listens. I help him thru his problems and he listens to my bitching. Even though he lives far away we still communicate several times a week whether it's via the web or on the phone. When we don't talk i find myself thinking "I need to tell EL, or that is so EL". (EL is the name given to him by Meg)

I've told a couple of friends about him and how i love talking to him. And they always have the same response..."you LIKE him" or "he LIKES you". We do like each other, I would even say he's one of my fave people. Ever. But that's it. Part of me thought when we met in person, my feelings would change and there would be some sort of attraction. There wasn't. None at all. But just spending time with him was so great. So back to this article... I would say i'm emotionally attached and I do love him...like i love all my best girlfriends. I'm not sure what would happen if we ever stopped talking.

Somehow I don't think Chuck would understand. Which is why it's like an affair. UGH.

Rants

I just finished the report from hell that no one has kept up in 8 months. I feel totally exhausted.

Some of the people I work with are phony. Don't complain about my assistant when I'm on vacation and then turn around and kiss her ass. Back Stabbing sucks!

My daughters are "developing" and it makes me sad. They are becoming young ladies and I can't handle it.

Brooke has better style than I do. She's only 10.

It really freaks me out when the Big Wig shuts his door. Who's getting fired?

It's 100 degrees outside and I can't breathe.

I had an uncontrollable urge to smoke a cigarette yesterday and I did. I smoked one today and it made me sick.

Why is it that I have to design an invite, shop for food, shop for beer for HIS softball party?

After a shitty day Salsa and chips make everything better.

Sometimes I wished I lived in a metropolis instead of granola central.

It pisses me off when my daughter's school plan events during work hours. Not all moms are the stay at home type.

I took chicken out for dinner and have no idea what to make.

I've watched Big Love religiously from the beginning and I can't get enough. Isn't Bill HOT? Nikki is my fave wife.

It's close to 5:00, I should go home.
